Donovan and Mathis as his supportive spouse are first rate. Cast includes Jeffrey Donovan, Samantha Mathis, Bruce Dem, Bob Gunton, Heather Matarazzo, Alicia Lagano, and Chris Ellis. From Nashville with Music: Some excellent country and western music, although one would be better served to purchase one of the actors' albums rather than agonizing through this tale of a New York couple who go to the Grand Ole Opry by accident. Cast includes Marilyn Maxwell, Leo G. Carroll, Pedro Gonzalez, Marty Robbins, Merle Haggard, and Buck Owens. (87 minutes, 1969)
Black Rain: New York detectives Nick Conklin and Nick Vincent capture a killer who is part of the Japanese Mafia. Upon escorting him back to Japan, he escapes. With the assistance of the Tokyo police they try and track this killer down. They find themselves being pulled deep into the world of the Japanese Mafia.
The Good Shepard: Edward Wilson, a patriotic American, finds himself working for the OSS (what will become the CIA). When the war ends, he becomes one of the founders of the CIA. He is intensely devoted to his career, eventually at the expense of everything else in his life.
Black Mask: Biologically machinated warrior Li gives up a peaceful life to battle his comparably improved former colleagues, who are trying to take over the Hong Kong rackets. Clever, fashionable, lightning paced thriller is a superlative showcase for the illuminating abilities of Li who, in his camouflage, looks like the Green Hornet's Kato.
