First you create a video, and then you upload it to Traffic Geyser, which will then automatically upload your video to over 50 social media sites around the net, saving you a stack of time.

There are a varying number of social media sites that Traffic Geyser will submit to, and it depends on your membership level. The most common membership is the gold $97 per month. This gives you 3500 submission credits and allows you to submit to around 50 social media sites.

So What's Good About Traffic Geyser?

The good news is that Traffic Geyser actually does what it says it does, and it does it pretty well. That is, it submits your videos to all of the social media sites that you have signed up for. This is a great way to get some pretty good quality backlinks (also some pretty ordinary ones though). You'll also get a stack more people viewing your videos, with the chance that one of them just may go viral..

The Bad:

Sadly, you have to manually set up all of the social media sites that you wish to submit to all by yourself, which is no laughing matter. It took me nearly 8 hours to fully set up one profile (50 sites), and you really need to set up 4 profiles for Traffic Geyser to be effective. Traffic Geyser does offer to set them up for you, but for $97 per profile.

In order to get the best out of Traffic Geyser you need to have at least 4 profiles. This will take you about 30 hours to do, or you have to pay Traffic Geyser nearly $400 to get them to set it up for you. I grabbed a copy of Imacro for Firefox and automated a lot of the process, but it took me over a week to set this up.

Google does love videos, but more, it loves NEW videos, which means that your video listing can get dropped fairly quickly, especially in competitive markets.

Who Should Get Traffic Geyser?

Traffic Geyser is an excellent tool for automating the submission of your videos to social media sites, and also to get some backlinks to your site.

I think that it would be best used by people who are looking to use video to dominate their local markets. I've had some great success doing this.

Is Traffic Geyser Good Value For Money?

Traffic Geyser is not a budget service. It costs $97 per month, which i consider a little bit excessive. However if you're creating and distributing 10+ videos per month, then it's not too bad (working out at about $0.20 per submission)

Final Thoughts On Traffic Geyser:

At $97 per month Traffic Geyser is too expensive. But, I can't really find anyone who can do exactly what Traffic Geyser does, so I stick with them, and will continue to until something better comes along. The main alternative is TubeMogul, which is free, but in my opinion, doesn't get the job done as well.

Final Rating For Traffic Geyser:

Useability: 3 out of 5 (I'm not thrilled about the website, and the user interface isn't very intuitive)

Usefulness: Traffic Geyser gets 4 out of 5 stars. It gets the job done and that's the most important thing.

Value for Money: TG gets a 3 from 5 for this. They shouldn't be charging $97 for this service, but while there are very few competitors they can! That said, very cost effective for local marketers.

Overall Traffic Geyser gets a 3 out of 5 starts. Could have been a lot higher but the $97 price tag brought it down.
